Packaging

  • Materials released for packing are pumped from storage to a packaging cooling tank in the dedicated packing room.

  • Cooled fat is filtered and passed through a chilling unit where it becomes semi-solid.

  • Cartons are filled manually from a fill/weigh unit, which is Government stamped and calibrated.

  • The cartons are then sealed, passed through a metal detector and batch coded.

  • At this point, the cartons are either held in the store room, or despatched.
